OPERATIONS CONSULTING

Operations and technology should work as one system.

Business consulting for how the work is done, and for how that work connects with the technology around it.

A BETTER WAY FORWARD / 05 Start with the work, then the tools.
  • See the operation clearly
  • Find the gaps
  • Agree what to change

THE OUTCOME

Start with the work, then the tools.

A process can look fine on its own and still break where it meets another team, a system or a handoff. We look at how the operation runs, and where technology helps, blocks or simply does not connect.

01

See the operation clearly

Map the steps, the people and the points where work passes between them.

02

Find the gaps

See where the way people work and the systems around them fail to meet.

03

Agree what to change

Decide which part of the operation, and which system, should move first.

WHAT WE DO

Where we can help.

Choose the support that fits your situation. We’ll define the right scope together.

01

Operations review

Walk through how work actually happens, not only how it is described.

02

Interoperability

Trace how teams, information and systems depend on each other.

03

Operating model

Clarify roles, handoffs and the decisions people need to make.

04

A practical next step

Turn the findings into a change that can be planned, bought or built.

HOW WE WORK

A practical path from idea to action.

Each project has its own shape. These are the conversations that help us move in the right direction.

01

Observe

Sit with the work, the people who do it and the tools they already use.

02

Connect the picture

Show where the operation and the technology support each other, and where they do not.

03

Recommend

Leave a clear change, and name the service that should carry it if you want help to implement it.

GOOD TO KNOW

Common questions.

Still unsure? Bring us the question you have, even if you do not have a brief yet.

How is this different from technical consulting?

Technical consulting looks at technology choices. Operations consulting looks at how the business runs, and at the points where that work meets technology.

Does this mean we need new software?

Sometimes the useful change is in the process, the handoff or the way an existing tool is used. New software is only recommended when the operation needs it.

Can this lead into another service?

Yes. When the next step is a website, a business system or custom software, we can continue into that work.

LET'S TALK

Tell us where the work gets stuck.

Describe the operation, the tools around it and what is not connecting.
